Q: What's the result when a neat-freak with stellar baking skills joins forces with a control-freak with an eye for marketing, design, and photography?

A: Lily Torte Baking Company!

Cousins Lindsey Hazard and Erin-Renee Sierra decided to couple their baking and design skills to create a company, they hope, will revolutionize the bakery experience.

Lindsey Hazard, Co-Owner, left the confines of her corporate job to stay at home with her two beautiful and active children, Noah and Lily (whom is also the name-sake of the company), and Elijah (the newest member of the family), and focus on developing Lily Torte. Lindsey is constantly developing new recipes and techniques to ensure the integrity of their products. Her philosophy: "I want our confectionery treats to taste as good as they look and look as good as they taste!" Upon eyeballing any one of the impeccably decorated Lily Torte cupcakes, select a favorite, sink in those pearly whites, and you will have to agree.

Erin-Renee Sierra, Co-Owner took the leap of faith and left her corporate job in the beginning of June 2011 to pursue the Lily Torte brand development, assist with baking, and running the shop daily. You will see Erin-Renee's keen eye for design in the well appointed marketing materials, crisp photography, and sleek web presence - all of course in LTBC's signature pink, black, and white colors. "We want our customers' experience to be an adventure for the sense, whether it's in our shop or on our website," Erin-Renee has said. She designed and built this very site that you are currently frequenting and has many more plans to be implemented including online ordering.

Speaking of the Lily Torte experience, renovations on the home of LTBC are almost complete. Their doors officially opened on July 7, 2011. The main dining area is crisp and modern in white and black and has just the right amount of pink to make it all pop! Both ladies are DIYers and have quite a vision for the former seafood restaurant located in Historic Downtown Powder Springs, Georgia. Erin-Renee has recently said "It's going to be a lot of work to take this place from shabby to chic, but I am confident in our abilities." With their design vision and help from their husbands and supportive family members, the shop has promise to be wonderful retreat for the senses!
